14er Forecast gives you mobile access to the National Weather Service (NWS) weather forecasts for all of Colorado’s 14ers.

Perfect for planning trips to the Colorado mountains, you can also enter any lat/lon coordinates within the US for detailed weather forecasts of that location. If you’re on your quest to climb all of Colorado’s 58 fourteeners then this app is a must.

Once a location is selected and data is retrieved, it remains cached until you select a different peak or location.

14er Forecast features:

WEATHER
- 7 day weather forecasts from NOAA’s NWS
- Temperature readings, both actual and ‘feels like’ taking into account wind chill / heat index factors
- Precipitation chance, rainfall, snowfall, cloud cover and relative humidity
- Wind speed, gusts, and direction forecasts
- You can save other locations such as trailheads, lakes, thirteeners, etc. for easy retrieval
- Alerts for Watches, Warnings and Advisories from NWS for the selected location (if any)
- Select any of Colorado’s 14’ers or enter any latitude and longitude point within the US
- Use the GPS on your iPhone to select your current location
- Display forecast in US or Metric units

MAPS
- 7.5 minute maps of Front Range fourteeners and RMNP are included
- Track your current location
- Flag locations along your route
- Turn on tracking to mark your trail while app runs in the background
- Receive proximity warnings as you approach flagged locations (tracking must be enabled)
- CAUTION: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life

IN-APP PURCHASES
- You can add maps of all 58 14ers
- Other popular locations plus more as they become available
- Load and save GPX files for reference
